ADA 2022 Elder Care Symposium

Dr. Christie-Michele Hogue presented at the American Dental Association’s 2022 Elder Care Symposium From Policy to Chairside: Improving Oral Healthcare of the Aging Population on Friday, August 26, 2022. Dr. Hogue presented on the topic: Understanding the Importance of the Interdisciplinary Teams in Caring for the Oral Health of Older Adults. The event was a hybrid program with in-person learning and networking which took place at the ADA Headquarters in Chicago. The symposium showcased important topics that impact the oral and systemic health of older adults. Speakers from across academia, the Federal Government and different practice modalities shared diverse perspectives to engage attendees in a common purpose to serve this unique segment of patients - older adults. The symposium was developed for all dental professionals and students – across their career path and from all practice modalities.
